THIS JUST IN: Green Toad Bookstore in Oneonta Changes Ownership!

Oneonta favorite the Green Toad Bookstore is changing ownership after six years.

Michele Barry Pondolfino has announced that Jim Havener will be taking over ownership of the book store this week.  Havener, "The Furniture Doctor" in Milford for almost 30 years, looks forward to his exciting new endeavor and we all welcome him to the business community.

Congratulations to Michele for all she did to enhance the very heart of Downtown Oneonta.  Much credit is to be given to this charming and energetic woman for doing the unthinkable...opening up a "brick and mortar" bookstore in a time when so many of them are closing.  The Green Toad is a first-class bookstore and we appreciate Michele's hard work in bringing such a wonderful establishment to Oneonta.
