rexmere hotel

I was in Stamford, N.Y. this morning and I have to admit.  It was a little odd driving down the hill coming in from Oneonta and looking to my left and not seeing that grand structure we all knew as the Rexmere Hotel.  Of course I know it burned to the ground recently, but it was still jarring not to see it...

This dramatic video shows the final moment and then collapse of the famed Rexmere Hotel in Stamford.  Thankfully, nobody was injured.  The more than 300 firefighters on the scene did a remarkable job!
