The officers were attacked as they came out of the state police barracks in Blooming Grove, south of Wayne County and about 30 miles east of Scranton.  Corporal Bryon Dickson of Dunmore was killed September 12 while Trooper Alex Douglass is said to conscious and able to talk with investigators.

The State Police say the officers were definitely targeted for the ambush that happened during the evening shift change.

A spokesman says they have gotten a large number of tips and have talked to at least one person of interest, who was not arrested.

Law enforcement officers from several states including New York have been assisting in the manhunt.

Meanwhile, donations have been pouring in to support the families of Dickson and Douglass.
