Children and families are invited to an evening of Halloween activities beginning at 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at SUNY Oneonta.

The Order of Omega, an honor society for sorority and fraternity members, will host a Halloween carnival featuring face painting, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting and other activities for kids from 5-6 p.m. in the Hunt College Union on campus.

Student volunteers will then guide trick-or-treaters and the adults who accompany them to the residence halls, where students will have snacks and other treats for the children. The trick-or-treating begins at 6 p.m.  Students will meet trick-or-treaters at two locations: the Hunt College Union and the Little Theatre in Alumni Hall. Trick-or-treating will conclude at 8 p.m.

Visitors to campus are advised to park in the lots adjacent to the Hunt College Union, Alumni Field House or Tobey Hall.

SUNY Oneonta has been inviting community children to trick-or-treat on campus for more than 10 years. Additional information about the event is available from the SUNY Oneonta Office of Residential Community Life at (607) 436-2514.
