Four SUNY Oneonta seniors are among 249 State University of New York students chosen to receive the 2018 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. Kayla Belush of Hubbardsville, N.Y., Daniel Prince of Tully, N.Y., Jonelle Reyes of Ridgewood, N.Y., and Anthony Vecere Jr. of Fishkill, N.Y., were recognized for demonstrating academic excellence and integrating it with accomplishments in other areas, such as leadership, career achievement, campus involvement, athletics, community service, or creative and performing arts. The students received their awards on Tuesday.
