The Milne Library at SUNY Oneonta will host an open discussion on civic participation and the meaning of democracy in our local, national and global communities.

The conversation will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Alden Room on the third floor of the library. It will focus on an excerpt from philosopher and educational reformer John Dewey’s 1939 speech, “creative democracy.”
