The College Union Activities Council at SUNY Oneonta won four awards at the National Association for Campus Activities Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference held Oct. 17-20 in Buffalo.

The college received a pair of program awards. It's “Leaders Lunch” series took top honors in the “Outstanding Leadership Program” category. A lecture by social justice activist Zach Wahls won in the “Outstanding Civic & Service-Learning Program” category.

In the Graphic Arts Competition, SUNY Oneonta won one award for a faculty/staff-designed poster, and another for theme publicity by faculty/staff. CUAC provides social, cultural, educational and recreational activities for the college community. Last year, CUAC offered dozens of events ranging from film screenings, concerts and comedy performances to lectures, trivia contests and late-night bowling.
