State Supreme Court Denies Injunction Against NY SAFE Act

The State Supreme Court’s decision to reject a request for an injunction halting the NY SAFE Act is a victory for Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration stance on gun control.

According to State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, the decision was the right one and will reduce gun violence and prevent tragedies that result from the use of military style weapons, while ensuring constitutional protections to responsible gun owners.

There are still multiple lawsuits challenging the NY SAFE Act on numerous grounds.
