The State Senate will consider the 2nd passage of a constitutional amendment that would change the redistricting process.

If the bill passes as expected, it will be on the ballot for voters in 2014.

Some Good Government Groups are opposed to the bill, saying the plan would be worse than the current system where senate republicans and assembly democrats dominate the special legislative task force charged with drawing the new lines; other Good Government Groups say it’s an improvement.
