State Police Embrace Social Media

The New York State Police are making the leap into social media to better serve the people of New York State.

New Yorkers can now “like” the state police on Facebook and follow on Twitter @nyspolice.

The public can learn more about the state police, its specialty units and members. They will also be posting important public safety information in regards to arrests, closures, traffic safety tips and even information on how the public can help in investigations.
