The Grand Ole Opry was SRO on Thursday for the public memorial to country singer George Jones.  Guests waited as long as five hours to get seats in the hallowed home of country music.

Many great George Jones stories were told from a long line of eulogists including CBS newsman and close friend Bob Scheiffer, singer Barbara Mandrell, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, former First Lady Laura Bush and many others.  Among the performers were Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis, Wynonna Judd, Travis Tritt, the Oak Ridge Boys, and others.

Many have called this haunting duet by Vince Gill and Patty Loveless the high point of this sentimental day in Nashville.
