Sidney Center to Hold “Crock Pot Cook-Off” to Restore Playground

Sidney Center, N.Y. is holding their 2nd Annual "Crock Pot Cook-Off" on Sunday October 14.  It will take place from Noon to 3:00 PM at the Sidney Center Fire hall.  Proceeds will go toward the playground restoration project which will benefit the whole village.

To participate, just bring your crock-pot (full of your delicious entry, of course) and set it up to compete.  It is free.  There will be many crock pot choices to sample for a $5.00 fee to taste or judge.  Among the categories to be judged is a People's Choice category.  Prizes will be provided by area businesses.  There will be family events, fall activities, pumpkin painting, a scavenger hunt and live music.  This event is free.
