Sherburne Hosting Pageant of Bands

The Village of Sherburne is hosting the 69th annual Pageant of Bands through Saturday. Sherburne-Earlville High School will serve as the host school for the event which draws more than 30 participating schools and upwards of 20,000 people. Jazz and small-ensemble performances are scheduled to run from 4:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. Concert competitions open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, followed by the main event – the parade of marching bands through downtown Sherburne – then a Drumline competition at Marauder Stadium.
