New York State Senator James Seward has joined the Hartwick College faculty as an adjunct professor of political science for the fall 2017 semester. The class of ‘73 Hartwick graduate will teach “New York State Politics and Policy” for 20 students and plans to hold regular office hours on campus once a week.

According to a news release the course will examine the policy-making process and politics of New York State government with an emphasis on current policy debates and political developments.
