Search Finds Cooperstown Boy in Utica

Provided

The 7-year-old Cooperstown boy that was missing for three hours was found safe in Utica.

A bus driver thought she was picking up Mutume Waddimba’s 5-year-old brother, but instead picked up Mutume and took him to the Utica Cerebral Palsy Center.

Authorities say both Mutume and his brother Titus are non-verbal special needs children.

An extensive search was launched for Mutume when his mother reported him missing at 10:18 a.m. Monday.
