Recent Laurens High School Grad Dies in Motorcycle Crash

State police at Oneonta say a fatal motorcycle accident occurred Friday night in Laurens. Troopers say 20 year old Eric Ericson of Laurens was driving north on state Route 205, near Blood Mills Road in Laurens,at about 9:30 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to go off the road and strike a fixed object. The 2013 Laurens Central School graduate was transported by ambulance to A. O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, where he was later pronounced dead. Ericson was a student at the State University College at Plattsburgh.
