Rally For Education On Main St. Oneonta Tonight

There will be a rally for public education concerns tonight (Feb. 26th) from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in Muller Plaza in Downtown Oneonta.  Members of the community are encouraged to attend with peaceful signs to join the demonstration in support of public education. Attendees are also asked to prepare a brief statement that begins with "Because I Care..." to be read during the rally.

This event is organized by Oneonta Area For Public Education, a group dedicated to informing the rural communities in our area about current education reforms and their impact on students, teachers, parents, and taxpayers.
