On April 24, 2014 at approximately 9:25 pm, the New York State Police at Oneonta responded to a reported robbery at Arby’s Restaurant, 5526 State Route 7, Oneonta, NY.

Investigation revealed a white male approximately 6 ft to 6 ft 2 inches tall, medium build, wearing a full face mask, dark colored hooded sweatshirt with Monster & Fox Racing logos across the chest, and work type gloves entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials said the subject presented a note to the cashier and indicated that he possessed a gun. No gun was displayed. A store employee gave the subject cash from the cash register; the subject then left the store through the eastern-facing entrance door in an unknown direction. No vehicle was observed at the scene of the robbery.

State Police were assisted at the scene by members of the City of Oneonta Police Department, the Otsego County Sheriff’s Department, and the Town of Oneonta Constable. Anyone with information is requested to contact the New York State Police at Oneonta, N.Y. at (607) 432-3211.

The physical descriptions of the suspect and clothing  are very similar to that of the suspect in the recent robbery of the Convenience Express in Oneonta.
