The Oneonta Theatre which dates back to 1897 and is on the National Register of Historic Places has seen it glory days and it's dark days on Chestnut Street.  Currently, the building which was renovated by owner Tom Cormier is up for sale with doors boarded up.

Concerned about the theatre's future, The Friends of the Oneonta Theatre is conducting a feasibility study to understand the viability of the theater. If you care what happens to this historic building, then please participate in this survey which will help the planning partners understand how best to serve the community with this wonderful theater.
