Sheriff Thomas Mills announced March 19 that the office was awarded reaccreditation by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

What a mess!

Does anybody know what was going on here?  Clearly Main Street was undergoing an overhaul.  I wonder what kind of a ruckus the Main Street merchants put up during this hectic time?

Any ideas on the date of this photo?  A clue might be the Greyhound Bus station in the picture

Body in Otsego County Creek Identified

The Authorities say the body found March 19 in a northern Otsego County creek is that of a Schoharie County woman.

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office says authorities received several 911 calls from people who spotted the body in the creek at the intersection of Buel Road and Ray Mower Road in Cherry Valley
