Otsego County Flooding Victims Can Apply For Assistance

The U.S. Small Business Administration has granted a Physical Disaster Declaration for Otsego County as a result of last July’s heavy rains and flash flooding. This comes after FEMA denied a major disaster declaration last month. Homeowners can apply for loans to repair property or replace personal property while business owners can request up to $2 million for replacing lost business assets. Applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 and the deadline to file is Nov. 13.
