(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – With an exciting year of celebrations and marquee events planned for 2014, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will host an Open House for Otsego County residents on Tuesday, November 19th.

The Open House will run from 4:30-6 p.m. and refreshments will be served, as Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson will preview the Museum’s 75th Anniversary season plans, which will include the May 23-25 Hall of Fame Classic Weekend; the June 12th 75th Anniversary Celebration; the July 25-28 Hall of Fame Weekend; and the Aug. 2 75th Anniversary Concert.

The Museum will also unveil a new photo exhibit during the Open House. Picturing America’s Pastime, located on the Museum’s third floor, features more than 50 photographic images showing the incredible breath and depth of the Hall of Fame’s unique collection of 250,000 original images. The exhibition also features 16 artifacts connected to the images on display. Picturing America’s Pastime is scheduled to be on display in Cooperstown throughout 2014.
