Oneonta Man Arrested on 2 Felony Counts

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 29 year old Oneonta man yesterday on two felony counts of criminal contempt in the first degree and two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree. It is alleged that Joseph Darcy violated the terms of a Family Court Order of Protection by intentionally contacting the protected parties by telephone on two separate occasions in the town of Walton. Darcy was later arraigned in Walton Town Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $1000 bail. The defendant will appear at Walton Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
