The city of Oneonta is awarded $400,000 for home improvement projects from New York State’s Homes and Community Renewal Affordable Home Ownership Development Program. Up to $40,000 will be made available to 10 homeowners in Oneonta for repairs and upgrades to their homes. Opportunities for Otsego will be working with city officials to award the funding. In order to qualify homeowners must be at or below 112 percent of HUD’s Low Income Limits, adjusted for family size. People from an existing wait list of pre-qualified homeowners will also be eligible to apply.
