NYS Rethinks Southern Tier Casino Bid!

The Gambling Facility Location Board has voted to reopen consideration for placing a casino in the Southern Tier.  Last month the board lit a firestorm when instead of naming the allotted four locations for casinos, they chose to pick only three places.  One of them was in the Finger Lakes (Town of Tyre) and the Southern Tier, which was promised one site, lodged a protest.
