Governor Cuomo’s office announced that New York has completed work on 80 of 100 bridges scheduled for replacement in its $542 million Empire Bridge program. The program administered by the State Department of Transportation will make the aging & vulnerable structures more resilient against extreme weather. In Otsego County the route 28 bridge in Exeter and the Route 80 bridge in Burlington have been completed. Delaware County completed bridges include the Route 97 bridge in Hancock, the Route 10 bridge in Delhi, & the route 26 Bridge in Whitney Point.
