Norwich, NY Advances in ‘America’s Best Communities’ competition

The Greater Norwich, NY area is one of 50 communities to advance to the quarterfinals of "America's Best Communities", a 10 million dollar competition to revitalize small towns and rural communities.  With the victory in the first round of competition, Norwich was awarded 50 thousand dollars and is now a contender for the 3 million dollar grand prize investment.

A dinner was held at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich last evening to celebrate the accomplishment.  Among the guest speakers at the dinner were Senior leadership from Frontier Communications, Chobani and Commerce Chenango.
