New York State Fair Theme to be Decided By — YOU

State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel Aubertine says for the first time, New Yorkers will be given the opportunity to come up with the theme of the 2013 Great New York State Fair.

New Yorkers have until March 15th to submit ideas for a theme to statefairideas@agriculture.ny.gov. On March 18, Commissioner Aubertine and State Fair Director Thomas Ryan will go through the submissions for the 2013 Fair theme.

They will narrow these themes down to 10, and on March 19, all New Yorkers will be given an opportunity to vote for the theme of the 2013 Great New York State Fair on the Great New York State Fair's Facebook page.

The theme will be announced on April 1 once all votes are received.
