Miss Universe: From Catherine Moylan to Gabriela Isler!

Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler, was crowned Miss Universe last night in Moscow

The pageant actually started back in 1926 with the unwieldy name of The International Pageant of Pulchitrude!  The winner that first year was Catherin Moylan of Galveston, Texas.

Miss Moylan paraded down the runway in a demure one-piece bathing suit in 1926.  Miss Isler stunned this year wearing a $1,000,000 bejeweled two piece bikini.
