Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that the state will hold listening sessions to get the public’s input on legalizing recreational marijuana. The input will assist the Regulated Marijuana Workgroup adsn teh NYS Department of Health in drafting legislation for an adult-use marijuana program for the legislature to consider in the upcoming session. The nearest sessions will be in Binghamton on October 2 and in Utica on October 10. Sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Go to governor.ny.gov to pre-register.
