"Man on Wire" is one of those rare documentaries that is informative, riveting, captivating and celebratory. It takes the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center and glorifies them.

The story is of Philippe Petit and his attempt to tightrope between the Twin Towers in 1974, shortly after they were completed.

The documentary captures their beauty and Petit's impressive feat.

Left out of the documentary, released in 2008, was any mention of the collapse. Petit said this was intentional because he wanted the film to celebrate the Twin Towers for what they represented and not end the film in such despair.

It won an Academy Award for Best Documentary in 2009. It is one of the happiest films about the Twin Towers in existence.
