An Ohio tourist was arrested for felony harassment of a man in Cooperstown last week because he’s gay. Witnesses say the man, Marcus Walters of Waynesville Ohio saw the local man walking with his boyfriend and started making comments, leading to a pushing match. The alleged harassment continued at a local restaurant. Walters turned himself in after a warrant was issued, and he was arraigned and posted bail. He has a court date set for Otsego Town Court on July 20th. If he’s convicted, he faces up to four years in state prison.
