Local High School Student Dies in Auto Accident; Funeral Plans Announced

Devin McMahon, 16, a sophomore at Charlotte Valley Central School, died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Friday, May 16.  He is the son of Pamela Butler of Charlotteville and Kevin McMahon of Cobleskill.

Devin was a popular student who participated in many school activities including all sports (football, baseball, basketball, soccer and track). Devin's funeral will be held at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street in Cobleskill on Wednesday May 21, at 6:00 p.m.  Devin's family will be available to welcome friends and guests to the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. prior to the funeral.
