On Columbus Day, the weather was perfect, the leaves were peaking and I could almost smell the fresh, hot, cinnamon and sugar covered cider donuts so I couldn't help but grab my family and jump in the car to head to Willy's Farm & Cider Mill, at 349 Badeau Hill Road in Westford, NY.

Willy's is a Gartung family farm dating back to 1960.  It originally was operated as a dairy farm owned and operated by William and Mary Gartung and their twelve children. Those siblings now run the farm as a cider mill and fun, family attraction.

My family enjoys going there thanks to the warm, friendly atmosphere, all the homemade baked goods and crafts, the fun corn maze, and the wagon ride with stunning Fall views of the surrounding hills.   It's a great way to spend an Autumn afternoon.

If you want to find out more about Willy's you can visit the Willy's Farm & Cider Mill Facebook Page.
