State lawmakers added a provision to New York’s medical marijuana law allowing the drug to be prescribed for those suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. The bill now goes to Governor Cuomo for his signature and if it’s enacted into law New York becomes the 27th state giving those with PTSD access to medical marijuana. A spokesman for Governor Cuomo says he will review the legislation but didn’t indicate if the governor has decided one way or another on signing the measure.
