Let's face it.

It is all about the candy on Halloween Night.

Did you map out your neighborhood candy route before you went out?  Did you know the "good" houses?  You know, the big homemade candy apples or the full size Snickers bars?  Did you map out the clunkers?

Woe be the house that handed out pencils (can you believe they did that?), toothbrushes (must have been the dentist's house) or even coins?  The coins were the worse.  A nickel meant nothing to us at that age and all the pennies and change cluttered up the bottom of our trick-or-treat bag.  And took up precious room that could have been better used by licorice, popcorn balls, wax lips or Chunky bars.

Toothbrushes!  Really?
