Investigation Into Hancock Equipment Theft

An investigation is underway into the theft of a large piece of equipment owned by the Town of Hancock Highway Department. According to authorities the equipment was stolen between Tuesday, July 3, and Monday, July 10 from a highway pull off near the intersection of Charles Medlar Road and Bert Medlar Road in the Town of Hancock . The rake has wheels and is eight feet in width. Call the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office if you’ve seen this equipment or know of its whereabouts.
