Indictments Handed Down To Roxbury Woman

A Delaware County Grand Jury handed down Sealed Indictments Thursday afternoon, June 8th, after considering evidence relating to an investigation conducted by members of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit into the on-going illicit sales of diverted prescription narcotics in the Margaretville area earlier this year.

On Friday afternoon Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, arrested a Town of Roxbury woman on Sealed Indictment Arrest Warrant issued Thursday by the Delaware Count Court upon the filing of the Sealed Indictment.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30 year old Nicole Sass, of Denver, NY, on a the Sealed Indictment Warrant charging her with one class C felony offense of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. Sass is accused of selling a quantity of Hydrocodone on Bridge Street in the Village of Margaretville in January of this year.

Sass was arraigned in Delaware County Court on Monday afternoon before County Court Judge Richard D. Northrup, Jr., and was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility without bail pending further court action.
