Otsego and Delaware County producers may qualify for farm and food system funding through the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) process.

The Center for Agricultural Development and Entrepreneurship (CADE) is currently identifying a pool of qualified project proposals that demonstrate the infrastructural farm and food system needs from Delaware and Otsego counties to scale up regional agriculture. Profiles will be shared with the newly established Headwaters Agricultural Planning Initiative (HAPI).

In a recent assessment of Otsego and Delaware counties’ ability to serve growing markets with local agricultural products, the need for on-farm support was prioritized. HAPI will actively seek funding and pair projects with the best-fit grant and financing packages.

On Wednesday May 14th, from 4 pm - 8 pm, there will be a funding application workshop for interested parties at the Center for Agricultural Development & Entrepreneurship, 5 Elm Street (2nd floor), Oneonta. Registration is required.
