Funding Granted for Area Bridge Projects

The cities of Oneonta and Sherburne along with Delaware County will be sharing in more than $262 million in state funding to repair and replace bridges and culverts. The funding from the Bridge NY initiative granted $691,000 to Oneonta for Main Street over Glenwood Creek and just over $1 million to Sherburne for Palmer Road over Handsome Brook. Delaware County received $1.1 million for Knox Avenue over Wilson Hollow Brook. 165 projects statewide received funding
