Delaware County Sheriff’s officials are continuing to investigate a head-on crash on State Highway 206 in the Town of Walton that sent four people to hospitals, at least one with possible serious injuries.

Officials say an eastbound Volkswagen driven by 24 year old Tyler Cox of Binghamton collided with an oncoming Volvo driven by 70 year old Sante Moesle of Mount Tremper New York at around 6 a.m. April 14th.

The drivers and Moesle’s two passengers, 60 year old Debra Abreu-Moesle and 19 year old John Abreu were taken to Wilson Hospital while Sante Moesle was later transferred to a Syracuse hospital for additional treatment of internal injuries.

The Walton Police Department, Walton Fired Department the New York Department of Transportation and State Police assisted at the scene.
