A listener sent me this story.  In the "good old days" many of the streams and creeks in Upstate New York (and Pennsylvania) were stocked with trout through the use of fish trains.  The railroad would load large milk cans with live trout and then when the train came to a creek or river it would stop and the workers would dump the trout into the river.
