Global warming expert Dr. Eban Goodstein will deliver SUNY Oneonta’s 12th annual Cornell-Gladstone-Hanlon-Kaufmann lecture on environmental education and communication on Thursday, Oct. 11.

He will present "Good Work for Hot Times: Sustainability leadership in business and policy" at 8 p.M. In the ballroom of the Hunt College Union on campus. This event is free and open to the public.

In recent years, Goodstein has coordinated climate education events at more than 2,500 colleges, universities, high schools and other institutions nationwide.

His book "Economics and the Environment," now in its sixth edition, is a widely-used college text.
