A Binghamton driver was arrested on Tuesday after New York State Police in Norwich found a loaded handgun and a variety of drugs in his vehicle. Troopers stopped 32-year-old Timothy J. Reid for speeding on State Route 12 in Chenango County. Police say the man was found to be driving with an open container of alcohol and had a loaded handgun, meth, ecstasy, cocaine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, oxycodone, diazepam, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and fireworks. Reid was arrested for the felony of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, arraigned in the Guilford Town Court and sent to the Chenango County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 property bond, the release said.
