Do You Remember When Charlie Rich Set Fire to John Denver’s Award LIVE on TV? (VIDEO)

Do you remember when singer Charlie Rich set fire to the piece of paper announcing John Denver as the winner of the 1975 CMA Entertainer of the Year Award?  And he did it live on national television/  John Denver never deserved this and I am sure Charlie regretted his rude and embarrassing act.  He was never invited back to the CMAs.
