Delaware County Deputies Arrest Youth for Felony Assault

On May 2nd Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 17-year-old male from the Youth Leadership Academy in South Kortright for felony assault in the 2nd degree.

The charges are a result of the youth allegedly assaulting a staff member at the center.

The youth was arraigned in Delhi Town Court and sent to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 cash and $10,000 bond. He is due back in court at a later date.
