Delaware County Arrest made In Heroin Trafficking Case

A Sidney man held in the Delaware County Correctional Facility since his arrest last month was arrested by Delaware County Sheriff's Investigators on Wednesday afternoon on a Sealed Grand Jury Indictment Warrant. 38 year old Richard Swislosky was arrested by Delaware County Sheriff's Office Investigators on October 8^th and charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and first degree Criminal Possession of a forged Instrument concluding a month long investigation that focused on heroin trafficking in and around the Village of Sidney and City of Oneonta.  Last week a Delaware County Grand Jury indicted Swislosky on those charges and two additional class B felony charges of  3rd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in relation to his alleged sales of heroin in the Sidney area prior to his October 8^th arrest. Swislosky was arraigned on the indictment in Delaware County Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail pending further court action.
