One of country music's most beloved and venerable artists has passed away at the age of 87

Ray Price, whose career spanned six decades, died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.  The singer was a major crossover artist popular with both country and pop audiences.  Among his biggest hits were "Release Me,"  "Crazy Arms," "Heartaches By the Number," and "For the Good Times."
