The Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce announced at 11:00 on Friday morning the newest members of the Chamber's "Hall of Fame."

This year's esteemed honorees included Brewery Ommegang, the Cooperstown Graduate Program, The Farmers' Museum, Spurbeck's Grocery and the Susquehanna Animal Shelter.  Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Matt Hazzard made the announcement.

Brewery Ommegang has just celebrated its 20th anniversary.  The Cooperstown Graduate Program, a part of SUNY Oneonta, is nationally recognized for its museum studies.  The Farmers' Museum has been an iconic and historic Cooperstown landmark for more than 75 years.  Spurbeck's Grocery, founded in 1941 by Orlando Spurbeck, recently changed hands but remains a pillar of Cooperstown community and business life, and the Susquehanna Animal Shelter is one of the oldest in Central New York, having been founded by Mrs. William Hyde in 1917.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce "Hall of Fame" Class of 2018.  Good neighbors all!
