Thanksgiving is almost here (November 27th) and due to different reasons, people in the Oneonta community may find themselves alone on a holiday dedicated to family and abundance.  Or some, may simply not be able to afford an extravagant holiday meal.  That's where St. Mary's Church and the St. James Feeding Program at the Lord's Table come in.

A Thanksgiving Community Dinner will be offered on November 27th at the Oneonta Elks Lodge from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.  Long-time volunteer with the dinner, MaryAnn Hartman explains the origins of this Thanksgiving Community Dinner that serves over 500 people each year.

Everyone is welcome at this dinner that is free of charge (donations gratefully accepted).  For transportation to the dinner or delivery of a meal to those homebound call Deb (by 11/25) (607) 433-0356.  To volunteer time or baked goods, call MaryAnn at (607) 226-1785.
